How to Make Lasagna Ingredients:

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef (optional)
  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce (24 oz)
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

How to Make Lasagna Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Add the spaghetti sauce, crushed tomatoes, and water to the skillet with the beef. Stir to combine and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  6. To assemble the lasagna, start by spreading a thin layer of the sauce mixture on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
